The LaMarche Family Story

Healthy living is important to our family. My husband, Jon, is the fitness coordinator at the Rangeley Region Rehab and Wellness Pavilion and I run Grassroots Grocery Group. When I became pregnant with our daughter, Calle, Jon and I felt it was important that her birth be as natural and peaceful as possible. Living in an area as remote as Rangeley, it seemed too chancy to have a home birth, so we began researching other options.

We had heard about Pine Tree Women’s Care, and once we met their physicians, toured Franklin Memorial Hospital’s birthing center and spoke with parents who raved about their positive experiences there, we knew would get the atmosphere we wanted and the medical attention we needed.

Our experience with Pine Tree Woman’s Care and Franklin Memorial was outstanding. When it came time for our son, Kye, to be born, it was comforting to know we would be in the hands of the medical professionals we knew so well from our daughter’s birth. The only thing better about the stay this time was the delicious Granary Brew Pub & Restaurant dinner served to us in our private room—linen napkins and all!
