Womenâ€™s Wellness Day is May 17
Free health screenings and education provided

In observance of National Women’s Health Week, health screenings and education will be offered to all women by Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) staff on Thursday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Western Maine Community Action Health Services on Front Street in Farmington.
Screenings offered include body composition analysis by the HCC’s new state-of-the art InBody720 body composition analyzer, as well as bone density screenings and blood pressure checks. Cancer prevention education will also be available.
Maine women 40 and older who have no insurance or who are underinsured and meet income guidelines may qualify to sign up to receive free mammograms and physicals.

National Women’s Health Week is organized by the Office on Women’s Health to bring together communities, businesses, government, health organizations, and other groups in an effort to promote women’s health.
