Winter Windfall Raffle Tickets on Sale
Proceeds from the raffle benefit Healthy Community Coalition
November 28, 2012
Tickets for the Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) 4th annual Winter Windfall raffle are now available until the end of January. The raffle is sponsored by Franklin Community Health Network.
By donating $10 per ticket to HCC, the donor will be eligible for 31 prizes to be drawn daily in January. Prizes include: a Saddleback mini-vacation for four ($950 value); 32″ LCD HD TV ($200 value); Oral-B PC 5000 electric toothbrush kit ($188 value); area business and restaurant certificates; ski passes to Sugarloaf and Sunday River; a fitness membership, and more!
Looking for innovative ways to continue current programs in a poor economic climate, HCC created the Winter Windfall raffle in January 2010, which soon became a popular annual event. Most prizes are valued for at least $50 and it is possible for a person to win multiple times as all winning tickets are reentered into the drawing.
“The raffle tickets make great stocking stuffers and are the perfect gift for those who are hard to buy for,” said Jennifer McCormack, HCC director. “Thanks to your donation, proceeds from the raffle will allow HCC to offer programs not covered by grants, and allow for the expansion of health screenings, health promotion and education, outreach, and mobile health unit services to meet community requests.”
Tickets for Winter Windfall are available from any HCC staff or board member, the FCHN Development Office at 105 Mt. Blue Circle in Farmington, or by printing out and mailing in the form found at www.fchn.org/news.
