Winter Windfall Raffle Tickets on Sale
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Healthy Community Coalition
December 9, 2011
Tickets for the Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) third annual Winter Windfall raffle are now available at its offices until the end of January. The raffle is sponsored by Franklin Community Health Network.
By donating $10 per ticket to HCC, the donor will be eligible for 31 prizes to be drawn daily throughout January. A sampling of prizes include: a Saddleback mini-vacation for four ($950 value); a guided fly fishing trip ($450 value); an Xbox 360 Kinect ($315), an IPod Nano ($146), restaurant certificates; ski passes to Sugarloaf, Sunday River, and Titcomb Mountain; a fitness membership, and much, much more!
According to Executive Director Heather Davis, HCC looks for innovative ways to continue current programs. Due to the poor economic climate, some state programs and private foundations that previously funded programs are unable to continue to do so. The raffle has quick become a popular event.
The tickets are the perfect gift for those who are hard to buy for and make great stocking stuffers.
Proceeds from the raffle will permit HCC to offer programs not covered by grants, and allow for the expansion of health screenings, health promotion and education, outreach, and mobile health unit services to meet community requests.
“Thanks to your donation, Healthy Community Coalition will be able to continue to offer a variety of services to improve the health and well-being of all the people in Greater Franklin County,” said Davis.
Tickets for Winter Windfall are available from any HCC staff or board member, by stopping by HCC offices at 105 Mt. Blue Circle in Farmington, or by printing out and mailing in the form found at www.fchn.org/news.
