Pink Ball Tournament to Benefit Webber Breast Care Center
Taking place July 28 at Lakewood Golf Course in Madison

The Lakewood Ladies Golf Association in partnership with the Skowhegan High School field hockey team is hosting a Pink Ball Tournament on Thursday, July 28 at Lakewood Golf Course in Madison. The 18-hole golf scramble for women will benefit the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, a program of Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington.
The cost for the 8 a.m. shotgun start tournament is $25 per person and includes a barbecue lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, and dessert. Carts are not included and must be reserved in advance by calling 474-5955. Interested participants can sign up as a team of four or individually and be placed on a team.
Also taking place that day will be a Chinese raffle featuring certificates for greens fees, Lakewood Theater tickets, Red Sox tickets, and more!
Hole sponsorships “in honor of a breast cancer survivor” or “in memory of a loved who has died from breast cancer” are available for $10. The honoree’s name will be placed on a sign at one of the holes and included in the event’s program.
