Landscaping Raffle Tickets on Sale
Proceeds will benefit Healthy Community Coalition
June 1, 2010
Tickets for a landscaping raffle to benefit the Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) are now available at Robin’s Flower Pot in Farmington through Sunday, June 20.
By donating $10 per ticket, each donor will be eligible for four prizes including: a mini landscape makeover valued at $800; a flowering crabapple tree valued at $130; a $50 gift certificate to Robin’s Flower Pot; and a hydrangea shrub valued at $40.
According to Robin Jordan of Robin’s Flower Pot, “The mini landscape makeover is a day in your yard to prepare, design, plant, and mulch a new perennial garden. All materials and labor will be provided by Robin’s Flower Pot, as well as Robert Zundel’s Tree Line Landscape located on Middle Street in Farmington.”
Healthy Community Coalition is an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of all people in Greater Franklin County using a coordinated approach of education, health promotion, and outreach.
Proceeds from the raffle will permit HCC to offer programs not covered by grants and allow for the expansion of health screenings, health promotion and education, outreach, and mobile health unit services to meet community requests.
Tickets are available at Robin’s Flower Pot, located at 387 Webster Road in Farmington. Robin’s Flower Pot is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
