Holiday Card Contest Winners Announced

Franklin Community Health Network (FCHN) has announced that Roshan Luick and Cecelia Dean are the grand prizewinners for this year's Holiday Card Contest. As grand prizewinners they will each receive a $100 savings bond.
Roshan's design will be the cover of the 2008 Franklin Community Health Network holiday card and Cecelia's message, "When the snow flies the fun begins," will be featured inside. Roshan is age 9 and attends Cascade Brook School, while Cecelia, age 7 attends Mallett School. Both schools are located in Farmington.
Sixteen runner-up winners from ten area schools were also selected. They included Nichole Decker and Ivy Enoch from Cascade Brook School; Maggie Murray from Mallett School; Jonathan Jordan from Kingfield Elementary School; Jordy Daigle from Jay Elementary School; Andrew Wilcox from Livermore Elementary School; Lindsay Huff from Strong Elementary School; Madison Holbrick and Julia Ramsey from Cape Cod Hill School; Seve DeRaps and Zac Clark from Rangeley Lakes Regional School; Astra Pierson and Claire Donaghue from Academy Hill School; Mason Strunk from Stratton Elementary School; and Chloe Venter and Naomi Venter who are home-schooled.
All winners and their families, and school personnel are invited to a celebration and awards ceremony at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, at Franklin Memorial Hospital's Bass Room. FCHN Vice President Leah Binder will present prizes and certificates.
Following the awards, all will be invited to stay and attend a free community concert at 7 p.m. featuring the Mt. Blue Voices acappella vocal ensemble from Mt. Blue High School. They will be singing a medley of seasonal favorites, as well as several of their trademark 60s tunes.
