October 26, 2011
Employees and volunteers of Franklin Memorial Hospital are lining up to get their flu shots to protect the health of hospital patients, employees, and visitors. Here Joseph Bujold, FMH board chair, gets his flu shot from Tracy Brooks, RN, while board members Ron Aseltine and Waine Whittier wait for their turn. Also present is Pam Hadley, RN, infection control coordinator.
This year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control is recommending that everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine and ample supplies of influenza vaccine are now available.
