Franklin Memorial Hospital Welcomes First Baby
A baby boy was born at 12:40 p.m. on January 1

Franklin Memorial Hospital and is pleased to welcome its first baby of 2012. Nurse midwife Susan Jacoby of Franklin Health Women’s Care attended the birth of Drake Douglas Frederick, a 7 pound 6 ounce baby boy who was born at 12:40 p.m. on January 1. Drakes’s parents are Whitney Nichols and Gary Frederick of Kingfield and he is the couple’s first child.
As Franklin Memorial Hospital’s first baby of 2012, Drake was presented with gifts donated by area merchants including: Calico Patch, Franklin Memorial Hospital Gift Shop (Auxiliary), Franklin Savings Bank, Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers, Franklin Memorial Hospital, Trask Jewelers, and Village Scrappers.
