FMH to Host Blood Drive on July 6
All presenting blood donors will receive a free collectable Red Sox t-shirt
June 27, 2012
The American Red Cross will be conducting a blood drive at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 6, from 1-6 p.m. in the Bass Room. All presenting blood donors will receive a free Red Sox t-shirt celebrating 100 years of Fenway Park.
The supply of Type O positive, O negative, B negative, and A negative blood is at critical levels and donors are needed to help replenish the current supply and prevent a further drop, according to the American Red Cross.
Donors may safely give blood through the Red Cross every 8 weeks. Eligible donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more, and be in good health.
To schedule an appointment, contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS or online at redcrossblood.org.
