Winter Windfall Winners Announced

The Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is pleased to announce the winners of the annual Winter Windfall raffle. First week winners included: Dean Walker, Matt Runji, Rebecca Dennison, Carmen Boucher, Ryan Dipompo, Betsy Norton, Cheryl Rand, and Jill Gray.
Respectively, each received: a one hour private ski lesson at Sugarloaf (equipment supplied if needed); $50 Gift Certificate to the Homestead Bakery; a Wii Gaming System; a dessert-a-month for a year beginning in February; a $50 Gift Certificate to Calzolaio Pasta Company; two Sugarloaf ski tickets, a $100 LL Bean Gift Certificate, and a one year membership to the Anti-Gravity Center.
Winners for week two included: Joan Chonko, the winner of two Sunday River ski tickets; Emily Hartung, the winner of two Saddleback Ski tickets; Maurie Stockford, the winner of One Pound of Chocolate from Mountain View Chocolate Shoppe; Cindy Whittier, the winner of a $50 gift certificate to The Bag & Kettle Restaurant; Isaac Davis, the winner of a basket of homemade jams, pickles, and cookies; Pam Ernest, the winner of a $25 Hannaford gift certificate; and Deb Burke, the winner of a $25 gift certificate to The Rack.
Winners for week three included: Amy Martin, a $50 Senator Inn & Spa gift certificate; Cameron Rose, an organic furnishing by Native Woods; Trish Flint, a one-day two-person kayak rental on Rangeley Lake for summer 2011; Bruce Miles, one-year supporting membership to Maine Huts and Trails (includes a one-night stay in one of the huts; Dianna Poulin, two Sunday River ski tickets; Gary Krauss, 3-month membership to the UMF Health and Recreation Center; and Stephanie Bjorn, a hiking package including Leki poles, day pack and water bottle;
Winners for week four included: Jason Higgins, guided Drift Boat Fly Fishing trip with professional Maine guide Nate Morse on one of Maine's beautiful rivers; Kevin Vining, an hour massage at Above Average Massage Therapy; Peggy Cannon, $75 Gift Certificate to Gepettos Restaurant; Judy Upham, fresh water pearl necklace and earrings; Michael Burd, $35 gift certificate to Longfellow's Restaurant; Devin Rose, All Things Pure certified organic facial at Body, Mind & Spirit; and Jennifer Bjorn, Saddleback mini-vacation for four.
Proceeds from the raffle that is sponsored by Franklin Community Health Network will permit HCC to offer programs not covered by grants, and allow for the expansion of health screenings, health promotion and education, outreach, and mobile health unit services to meet community requests.
