Battle for Breast Cancer Tournament A Success

Franklin Community Health Network extends its thanks to the 100+ student-athletes who made this so successful.
More than $20,000 was raised in the second annual Battle for Breast Cancer Tournament, a benefit field hockey tournament that took place at Colby College on July 27. The beneficiary is the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, a program of Franklin Memorial Hospital, and all funds raised will be used for working people with breast cancer who are uninsured or under-insured. Franklin Community Health Network extends its thanks to the 100+ student-athletes who made this so successful. High school field hockey teams participating included Skowhegan, Winslow, Lawrence, Mt. Blue, and Nokomis.
