Community First Aid Class Offered

Registrations are now being accepted for a standard first aid course being offered at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, from 5-8 p.m. in the Chisholm Room.
The course will follow the standards and guidelines for first aid from the American Heart Association. First aid is the immediate care that you give someone with an illness or injury before trained help arrives and takes over. Topics will include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies.
There is a $45 fee for the course, which includes the cost of a textbook. For more information or to register, contact Amanda Brown at 779-2381.
