FMH Welcomes First Baby

Franklin Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome its first baby of 2009. Dr. Tara Aumand of Franklin Health Women's Care attended the birth of Cole Vincent Bailey, an 8 lb. 8 oz. baby boy who was born at 8:07 p.m. on January 1. His parents are Donica and Bill Bailey of Phillips. Cole is the couple's first child. read more…

Maine Health Access Foundation Awards $300,000 to Evergreen Behavioral Services

The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF) has announced the award of nearly $3 million in grants to 17 nonprofits and collaboratives across Maine to improve the integration and delivery of mental and behavioral health services with primary health care services. Locally, $300,000 is awarded to Evergreen Behavioral Services (EBS) to address primary care needs of children with pervasive developmental disorders and their families in Greater Franklin County through integrated training and services. read more…
