Two Volunteers Complete FMH Chaplaincy Training Program

The chaplaincy program at Franklin Memorial Hospital welcomed its newest volunteers, Gretchen Legler of Jay and Jon Olson of Mt. Vernon, in a ceremony held at the hospital chapel on March 8. Legler and Olson join 10 other trained volunteers who visit with patients and families weekly under the direction of the hospital staff chaplains.


Local coalition HCC hosts Prosperity Summit

Dr. Donna Beegle returns to Farmington to help kick-off a grant initiative to address poverty in Greater Franklin County. The Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is hosting this event to bring more awareness on the issues of poverty in our community and to build community capacity. This event will also give community members ideas on ways they can be involved.


Dr. Gail Lamb Joins Franklin Memorial Emergency Department

Gail Lamb, DO, has joined the medical staff of the emergency department (ED) at Franklin Memorial Hospital (FMH) full time. Since 2008, Dr. Lamb has worked at FMH on an as needed basis in family medicine, hospital care, and in the ED.


Those with Diabetes Invited to Participate in Self-Management Training Program

Franklin Memorial Hospital’s diabetes program is starting in March with one-on-one counseling sessions and a three-part diabetes self-management class.


Diabetes Support Group to Start

March 3, 2017

Katie Drouin, RD, LD, and Nancy Taylor, RN, are announcing the start of a monthly diabetes support group in March and continuing through September. The groups are for anyone who has diabetes or supports an individual who has diabetes.
