Schooling

Dr. Rice completed his internal medicine residency at Scott and White Hospital, and received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science School of Medicine.

Professional Interest

Dr. Rice enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, especially cardiology, nephrology, and diabetic care. Before joining Pine Tree Internal Medicine, Dr. Rice practiced extensively in hospital and office settings for over 13 years; most recently, he served as Chief of Inpatient Medicine and as Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine Residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Personal Interest

Dr. Rice will live in Farmington with his wife Holly and their two daughters. They enjoy outdoor activities, especially fishing, and are looking forward to experiencing a number of new outdoor winter activities.
