Schooling

Dr. Wood studied medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Medicine in 1995.He did external Residency Rotations in trauma and pediatric emergency medicine from 1997-1998.His Emergency Medicine Residency occurred at York Hospital in York, PA, and Penn State/Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, PA.

Professional Interest

Dr. Woodmost recently served as a staff physician in the Emergency Department at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.He holds current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Dr. Wood has served as a Peace Corps volunteer and has been a teacher of English as a second language in Taiwan.He has a special interest in third-world medicine and wilderness medicine.

Personal Interest

Dr. Wood's personal interests include growing Bonsai trees, soccer, and scuba diving.He is an enthusiast of fine and exotic teas.
