Dr. Sweeney is a board-certified internist specializing in cardiovascular diseases. His main office is with the MaineHealth Cardiology, which participates in the Cardiology Clinic held at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Schooling

Dr. Sweeney graduated in 1975 from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, and completed his residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, in 1978. He has been an active staff member at Franklin Memorial Hospital since August 1995.
