Office Information
Franklin Health Surgery provides comprehensive evaluation and management of most conditions requiring general surgery, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery, upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and stereotactic needle breast biopsy.
Franklin Health Surgery is located on the second floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center located on the hospital’s campus. Other providers include Dr. Eric Gunther and Dr. Thomas Marshall. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Schooling
Dr. Lydon completed a fellowship in general surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and his residency in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Dr. Lydon received his medical degree at Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland.
Professional Interest
Dr. Lydon has been practicing medicine since 1994, most recently at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. He has a professional interest in laparoscopy.
Personal Interest
Dr. Lydon resides in Farmington with his wife Judi and their four school-aged children. He enjoys sailing, skiing, camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
