Daisy Goodman is a Board Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner at Franklin Health Women's Care. Her group practice includes doctors Connie Adler, Tara Aumand, Jacques Belair, Susan Kearing, Jay Naliboff, and Thomas Weigle, as well as Rebecca Sylvester and Sue Tinguely, family nurse practitioners.
Schooling
Goodman received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Massachusetts General Hospital's Institue for Health Professions and her Master of Science degree in Nurse-Midwifery from State University of New York at Stonybrook. Prior to that she attended Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky, earning her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certificate and Nurse-Midwifery certificate. Her doctoral work was on the care of women with opioid addiction during pregnancy.
Professional Interest
Before joining Franklin Health Women's Care, Goodman was affiliated with Rumford Hospital/Swift River Health Care as a nurse-midwife and women's nurse practitioner for more than four years. Goodman is certified in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. In 2004, she completed a 250 hour phytopharmacology course, Foundations in Herbal Medicine.
Personal Interest
Goodman resides in Farmington with her three children.
