Arthur Dingley, DO
Dr. Dingley sees patients Monday thru Friday at Franklin Health Internal Medicine on the first floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center.
Dr. Dingley received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed a year of internal medicine residency training at Wake Forest University Medical Center and a three-year psychiatric residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Prior to that, he studied law at the University of Maine School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1979.
Dr. Dingley has been twice board-certified By the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Dingley will be responsible for general psychiatry including psychiatric assessments and evaluations for adults, medication management, and psychotherapy crisis evaluations and consultations. Dr. Dingley's professional interests include general psychiatry with a specialized interest in developmental and chronic mental health issues. Before coming to Evergreen, Dr. Dingley was the Regional Medical Director for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in Portland. His extensive experiences have included work as an attending psychiatrist at Spring Harbor Hospital and Maine Medical Center.
Dr. Dingley's personal interests include backpacking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, rock climbing, scuba diving, alpine mountaineering, and weight training.
