Dr. Peter Cordner is a physician who works with Dr. David Hyde, Dr. Larry Labul, Dr. Andrew Lackoff, Dr. Todd Miller, and nurse practitioner Beth Hartsock, in staffing Franklin Memorial's hospitalist service. Dr. Cordner is the lead hospitalist.
Dr. Cordner completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Bassett
Healthcare in Cooperstown, New York. Dr. Cordner received his medical degree in 2003 from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before attending medical school, Dr. Cordner received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Northeastern College of Chiropractic in 1980.
Dr. Cordner was a chiropractor in private practice for 19 years before
pursuing his medical degree. His professional interests are hospitalist care, palliative care, and infectious diseases. Dr. Cordner is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Cordner resides in Farmington. During his free time he enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and biking, as well as working on the computer.
