Dr. Caldwell practices out of three office locations. His main office is located at 167 Livermore Falls Road in Farmington, on Route 133. He has other offices located at 1 Depot Street, the Nason Block, in Livermore Falls, and in Auburn at 219 Mt. Auburn Avenue. For your convenience, appointments for any office location may be made by calling the main office at (207) 779-1900.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday. Evening or weekend appointment times may be possible by special arrangement. Dr Caldwell is available to all his patients 24/7.

The main office in Farmington is equipped with X-ray and ultrasound machines, and a procedure room is available for office surgeries and minor procedures.

Schooling

Dr. Caldwell received his bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He went on to receive his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA. During his pursuit of his medical degree he was elected to membership into the Alpha Omega Honorary Medical Society and received the Hahnemann Hospital Association Award for Academic Achievement. He completed a five-year Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. While in his residency training he was granted publication for his research regarding Total Joint Replacements and Alignment and presented the results of his microvascular hand surgery research while in his fourth and chief residency years of training at the University of Miami.

Professional Interest

Dr. Caldwell practices general adult and pediatric orthopedics with special interests in trauma, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, minimally invasive total joint replacement, hand surgery, and sports medicine.

Professional Experience

Dr. Caldwell is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He also serves as an active member of the New England Orthopaedic Society. He is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Diplomate, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
