Office Information

Dr. Caldwell practices out of two office sites. His main office is located at 167 Livermore Falls Road, Suite 1 in Farmington, on Route 133. His second office is located at 1 Depot Street or the Nason Block in Livermore Falls. Appointments for both offices can be made by calling 779-1900 or 897-6868.

Office Hours: Mondays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Tuesdays-Fridays 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Dr. Caldwell is available for all his patients 24/7.

The Farmington office is equipped with X-Ray and fluoroscopy machines and a minor procedure room for minor office procedures.

Schooling

Dr. Caldwell received his bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He went on to receive his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA. During his pursuit of his medical degree he was elected to membership into the Alpha Omega Honorary Medical Society and received the Hahnemann Hospital Association Award for Academic Achievement. He completed a five-year Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. While in his residency training he was granted publication for his research regarding Total Joint Replacements and Alignment and presented the results of his microvascular hand surgery research while in his fourth and chief residency years of training at the University of Miami.

Professional Interest

Dr. Caldwell practices general adult and pediatric orthopedics with special interests in trauma, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, minimally invasive total joint replacement, hand surgery, and sports medicine.

Professional Experience

Dr. Caldwell is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He also serves as an active member of the Maine Medical Association and New England Orthopedic Society and is also a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Diplomate American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
