Schooling
Hartsock received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of New England and her master’s degree in the adult nurse practitioner program from Simmons College in Boston. She later received a post-master’s family certificate from the University of Southern Maine. She is board-certified as an adult nurse practitioner and as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She is currently enrolled in the doctor of nursing practice program at Simmons College.
Professional Interest
Hartsock has provided primary care for patients since 2002. Her professional interests also include research, domestic violence prevention, and international medicine.
Personal Interest
Hartsock volunteers with several local medical teams providing care for athletes participating in sporting events such as Beach to Beacon and Nubble Lighthouse Swim Challenge. She has also volunteered as a medical team member providing health care to Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic. During her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, photography, hiking, and running.
