Our Team of Care Providers

Office Information

We see patients in two locations: on the 2nd floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, located behind Franklin Memorial Hospital, and at the Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center in Livermore Falls.

  • We are accepting new patients.
  • Same day appointments are often available.
  • If you have any questions, please feel free to give our office a call and someone will be happy to help you.

We offer 24-hour call coverage when the office is closed, including weekends and holidays. To reach the doctor on call when the office is closed, call Franklin Memorial Hospital at 778-6031 and ask the operator to assist you in speaking with the provider on call.

The practice also offers triage services with a registered nurse available by phone during business hours.

Our Services

The Franklin Health Women’s Care team includes obstetricians-gynecologists, a family practitioner, nurse practitioners, and many highly qualified support staff. Franklin Health Women’s Care offers a wide range of Women’s Health Services, including:

  • Obstetric care in conjunction with the Franklin Memorial Hospital Birthing unit
  • Breast care in conjunction with the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center
  • Annual women’s health exams from adolescence to adulthood
  • Birth Control Options
  • Infertility
  • Bladder Control
  • Osteoporosis
  • Menstrual Cycle control
  • Menopause care, treatment, and counseling
  • Cervical health and treatment for Abnormal Pap smear
  • GYN consultation/surgery

    We try to meet all of the needs of our patients and their families at Franklin Health Women’s Care. During your appointments with us, please tell us if you would like to change the management of your care. You can choose to see selected practitioners or all of the practitioners for office appointments. Just let us know your preferences and we will try to accommodate. If you feel more comfortable during your office visit when a nurse stays with you, we will always accommodate that request. Please let your nurse know and she would be happy to be with you!

Prescription Refills

Please contact us at least 48 hours before you will need to have prescriptions refilled. If you need a refill of a narcotic pain medication please call the office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will not be able to call in refills at night or on the weekend because we do not have access to your chart. If your insurance requires you to do mail order for your prescriptions, we will only be able to do this by mailing a written prescription. We are not able to call these prescriptions in over the phone. Please allow ample time for us to give you a written prescription to mail to your pharmacy.

Appointment Policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, 24-hour advance notice is appreciated whenever possible. This allows us to open up that time for another patient needing care..

Emergencies

In an extreme emergency, such as loss of consciousness, chest pain, severe breathing problems, or major bleeding, call your emergency service number (usually 911) first. Do not delay emergency care by calling our office or the hospital. Afterward, if necessary, call your physician for further advice and coordination of your emergency care.
