We ask that you contact our office 5 days before your child is out of medication. All prescription requests received on Friday after 12 noon, will be processed the following Monday and received at the pharmacy by the end of the business day, unless Monday is a holiday. Some medications require the parent or guardian to pick up the prescription in-person. If someone other than the parent/guardian presents, we ask that you contact us with name and relationship. This also will require proper identification and signature.
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Calling early in the day is appreciated. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely medical care. To cancel appointments, please call 207-778-0482. If unable reach the receptionist you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please be sure to leave your phone number and the best time to return the call.
Messages can be left on the answering machine. If you have a question that can not wait, Dr. Silverstein can be reached after hours by calling Franklin Memorial Hospital (207) 778-6031 and ask to have her paged.
