Rates
Full Time Child Care Slots (30-45 hrs.)
There will be an additional charge for time in excess of 45 hrs. per week.
Part Time Child Care Slots (0-29 hrs.) = $5.50 per hour (regardless of the age of child)
10% discount for each additional child enrolled.
Payment Principles
Childcare fees are paid by Friday of each pay week. A $5.00 late fee will be added if payment is made after Friday. Checks should be made payable to Franklin Child Care. There will be a $25.00 charge for returned checks. Parents will be provided with a monthly statement outlining tuition payments and charges made to your account.
Franklin Child Care opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 5:30 PM. If you are delayed in picking up your child beyond the scheduled time, you will be charged an additional $5.00 for the first fifteen minutes and $1.00 per minute after that. If you schedule a delayed pick-up of your child or children, the additional charges may be waived at the discretion of the Director. This must be done in advance.
Financial Assistance
There may be childcare subsidies available from outside sources for families who are income eligible. Ask the center Director for further information and referral.
Vacations and Holidays:
We realize that family vacations are precious times when families need to be together. However this facility needs to continue to operate as we do not close for vacations, and our expenses remain the same. We will grant one week per year exemption from tuition for vacations. Charges are not reduced for weeks containing holidays. The center will be closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
Quality and Costs
Franklin Child Care is operated by Franklin Community Health Network. The program requires an ongoing subsidy by FCHN as client fees do not cover the high costs of operating the type of very high quality program, which is our commitment to deliver. Annually Franklin Child Care will inform clients about the nature and amount of additional resources FCHN adds in order to operate a program to meet the expectations of the families we serve and our vision of quality child care.

Full and part time FCHN employees are eligible for discounts based on a sliding fee scale as noted below. Annual family income will be verified on an annual basis.
