Highly qualified therapists, employed by Franklin Memorial Hospital, provide a broad range of physical therapy services to patients of all ages. Our physical therapy programs offer a broad range of services, such as aquatics, neurology, orthopedics including sports medicine, wound care, balance difficulties, work-related injury management, and neck and back problems. All are designed with personalized goals in mind, and patient education is emphasized to improve long-term outcomes of treatment and quality of life.
Our friendly and experienced professional staff can provide you with an evaluation and treatment plan that is designed to help you return to your favorite activities as soon as possible. You'll also reap the benefits of same-therapist consistency. Our goal is to have you satisfied with all services you receive from every member of our healthcare team.
We use the latest rehab and fitness equipment including Cybex and Precor strength training stations and cardiovascular machines. A wide range of cardiovascular workouts with staff supervision is possible using any of the facility's four treadmills, three bikes (one recumbent and two upright), two elliptical cross-trainers, a recumbent step machine, upper extremity ergometer, and a rowing machine.
A large array of wellness activities including health seminars, personal training, circuit training, spinning, martial arts, and water aerobics classes are also offered at the Pavilion. These programs offer a high degree of integration since wellness and injury/disease prevention are core elements of rehabilitation.
The post-rehabilitation program is designed as a follow-up to physical therapy. Upon discharge patients are given the opportunity to work with a personal trainer to progress their exercise program, which will encourage overall health and well being.
