Description:
Per diem position to fill in for vacations, illness, etc on an as needed basis. Responsible for registering inpatients & outpatients; obtaining all demographic & billing information; and verifing 3rd party coverage. Will also determine & collect payments for service. Other duties include answering a multi-line phone system; providing paging services; assisting with outgoing calls; and receptionist duties. Must have excellent communication & computer skills, and have the ability to multi-task. Hospital/Physician Office & Meditech experience preferred.
