Description:
Director of Development (1005): Full-time, Exempt position. The Director of Development is responsible for all fundraising programs for FCHN. This position reports to the President, works closely with the Board Advisory committee and supervises the Development Assistant. The Director will oversee and continue to develop a comprehensive fundraising program to meet the short and long-term needs of FCHN affiliates. This includes gifts from foundations, corporations, and individuals to support annual unrestricted needs, as well as planned giving, major gifts, special projects and campaigns, government grants, and fund raising events. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Excellent communication skills, 5 years development experience, including major gifts solicitation. Familiarity with Maine, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, and healthcare issues desirable.
